Bespoke Binders

Based on the proprietary NaCoMag coating technology we can provide individually fashioned coatings and beads to cater to your diagnostic or purification needs. Development is conducted through genetically engineering a fusion protein containing the active binding or reaction site you want to immobilize and the NaCoMag self-assembling protein cushion. The coating can be applied to your (magnetic) beads of choice or we can provide a complete solution pack providing coated beads and, if needed, also the necessary buffer solutions.

The advantage of creating a specific NaCoMag solution to fulfil your demands is obvious: Once a NaCoMag has been developed no further treatment is necessary during the production process. In particular no coupling or binding and optimization steps are needed.

For example we can create a camel antibody fusion protein against your target of choice. Once the beads are coated with this protein you can use them directly for your diagnostic purposes. In contrast, chemical coupling, streptavidin, protein A/G and the like require at least one further step (coupling or binding the antibody), making the production process more expensive and cumbersome. In addition the dense, correctly oriented and reproducible presentation of the antigen binding site provides a significant additional product advantage.
